My name is Lisa Vogt, and I am a computer tutor who focuses on beginning computer users.  I don’t just explain computers and the internet, I empower clients to explore and find solutions.

Many of my beginning clients have had friends or family set up a computer for them, but on their own they feel lost when it comes to using email or the internet. These new computer users need personalized support to get started, and I am pleased to offer that as well as training so they can find their own answers in the future.

I also work with more experienced computer users who want to understand their devices better, solve small problems, and become proficient in applications like Word or Pages.  If you got to this web page using a search engine like Google or a site like Yelp! then you are probably at the level of my intermediate students. I would be happy to work with you to expand your computer knowledge.

On the other hand, if friends or family members often come to you with basic tech support questions, next time they ask for help you could refer them to me. My goal would be to help them with their problem in the moment and get them to a place where they can solve more problems on their own.

My service area is San Francisco and nearby cities.  For travel outside of San Francisco there is a travel charge.
